Scenarios

Scenarios and their broad level steps supported by our GEE Solution

Incoming Goods

  • Truck loaded with ordered goods arrives at your premises
  • Truck details and Gross weight (weight of truck with load) are recorded while entering the premises
  • A Gate Entry Pass is generated and issued to transporter
  • After unloading of goods, a GRN is recorded in SAP with actual quantity of material (and its weight) by stores personnel
  • Now the empty truck goes to exit where Tare Weight is measured
  • If the difference between Gross Weight and Tare Weight is same as the weight in GR, an Exit Pass is issued
  • Vehicle can leave the premises with the exit pass

Outgoing Goods

  • Empty Truck arrives at your premises to carry goods to your customers
  • Truck details and Tare weight are recorded while entering the premises
  • A Gate Entry Pass is generated and issued to transporter
  • After loading of goods, a Shipping document is generated in SAP with actual quantity of material (and its weight) by stores personnel
  • Now the loaded truck goes to exit where Gross Weight is measured
  • If the difference between Gross Weight and Tare Weight is same as the weight in Shipping D, an Exit Pass is issued
  • Vehicle can leave the premises with the exit pass

  • Integration available with various kinds of weighing scales to record gross and tare weight of trucks
  • Support transactions related to Spares and Assets
  • Bar Code or QR code can be printed on Purchase Order, which when scanned automatically generates a Gate Entry record with reference to a PO at the Security Gate
  • Truck details can be copied to Gate Entry Pass from PO, if they are maintained, thus preventing the need to enter again by Security Personnel
  • Gate entry and exit pass documents are assigned to GRNs and Purchase Orders, if raised
  • Tolerance levels can be set for differences between Gross and Tare weights for both Incoming and Outgoing goods scenarios
  • Gate Entry Pass and Weight Recording can be done in a single step or two steps
  • Photos of Truck Drivers can be captured real time at Gate and included in Gate Entry pass
  • Available as Fiori App and hence can be used in Windows based HHTs
